    How to adopt

If you are interested in adopting, simply send an email from our contact page or text 775-742-4554 to confirm what is still available.  This website is updated weekly, not daily.

    How to surrender

Join us at our new location at the Tractor Supply Co 451 E Prater Way ,Sparks. We will be accepting surrenders from 9-12 at our monthly swaps usually held on the third of the month Saturday March through September. Please come early so we have space for your surrendered bird(s).

    FAQ

NNPFA attempt to evaluate for health and behavior issues prior to making any surrendered poultry, or other farm animal, available for adoption.  Adoptable animals are held for approximately 14 days to allow an opportunity for them to find homes.  The majority of these animals are considered consumable livestock and as such we cannot guarantee that they will be placed in a pet or home flock environment. We are not a sanctuary, but we may be able to refer you to one if necessary.

    Foster members

NNPFA currently has several foster locations in Reno, Sparks and outlying areas that house owner surrenders or rescues from Animal Services.
