Interested in volunteering at the show?

Thursday set up

Friday set up & early coop in

Set up begins Thursday, October 30 at 9:00.  The first day involves setting up saw horses, plywood, tarpaper, and cages, for the show;  tables for raffle, sales, and other areas so if you will be coming Thursday bring gloves and your muscles.

Friday will be decor day: decorations, class signage, egg show set up, raffle set up, and finish off with coop cards and other signage.  Not as much heavy lifting on Friday because early coop in begins at 4:00 so everything needs to be done by then.

Saturday-Show Day

Sunday-Break down and clean up

Saturday is always busy but the most fun!  We need volunteers to carry results from the judge's clerks to the show secretary so they can be documented as soon as possible.  Greeters are always needed and after the judging of champions, coop out and tear down begins. (You will need your gloves again.)

Why should you consider volunteering at the poultry show?  Because it's a great place to learn more about poultry and meet some really awesome folks. We will meet to take down cages, tables, left over raffle items, and all the show decor that will be stored for next year's event!
